## 直接輸入(IC)とは

### 直接輸入(IC)

直接輸入(IC)

 貿易用語としての「直接輸入」にはふたつの意味があるため、ここでは個別に説明する。   
 IC（Import for Consumption）の訳語として用いられる「直接輸入」とは、外国貨物を一般的な方法で輸入通関することを指す。海外貨物に対して内国消費税を支払い、内国貨物とする手続である。これは外国貨物の長期蔵置を目的としたIS（Import for Storage＝倉入）や、輸入原料を加工・製造のため保税工場へ搬入するIM（Import for Manufacturing＝移入）と識別するために用いられる用語である。   
 なお、一般にいう「直輸入」と同じ意味を指す「直接輸入」はDirect Importの訳語であり、商社などの仲介業者を通さず、売手と買手が直接取引を行うことを指す。
